Wetaskiwin Air Show 2008
Saturday, July 26th & Sunday, July 27th, 2008

10:00 am  -  Reynolds-Alberta Museum opens to the public, including:

  • Main Building
  • Aviation Display Hangar
  • Static Aircraft Display area
  • Turor Photo opportunity & Tutor Simulator
  • Antique Biplane Rides begin
  • Park & Ride service begins at Wetaskiwin Mall

11:00 am  - Fly-bys

12:00 Noon - Wetaskiwin air space closes to fly-in visitors
                      - Antique Biplane Rides End


12:45 pm - Opening Ceremonies

1:00 pm - 5:00 pm - Show Time!

  • Canadian Forces Snowbirds
  • Award-winning in-air performances by the following:
  • Kent Pietsch, Dead Stick & Comedy routines in the "Jelly Belly"
  • Pete McLeod, the youngest Canadian air show performer
  • Dan Buchanan, paraplegic hang glider pilot
  • Bill Carter, in a Pitts S2S
  • Team Rocket, and their Harmon Rockets
  • Bud Granley, in a Fouga Jet, Yak-55 and T-6 Harvard
  • Ross Granley, flying a Yak-18T


6:00 pm - Reynolds-Alberta Museum closes to the public
                - Park & Ride service will continue until visitors are off-site


Free:
- Admission to Air Show
- Admission to Reynolds-Alberta Museum

Autographs:
- Autographs will be availalbe from Air Show Peformers and the Canadian Forces Snowbirds throughout the day.  Watch the message board at the Autograph Tent for times.
