Road Closure Contact
Should you have any questions please contact Ron Vanden Dungen, Airport Manager at ph. 780-352-5858, email ronaldv@wetaskiwin.ca or visit the Wetaskiwin Regional Airport Terminal Building.
It is not our intent to restrict your access to your home, business or airport property. Without the road closures, it is reasonable to expect that the roads and driveways in the vicinity of the airport could become blocked with onlookers, especially with the introduction of admission at this year’s Air Show. These roads need to be kept clear to maintain efficient emergency access to the properties near the airport, to the airport itself and to the Air Show.
FOR AIRPORT ROAD PROPERTY OWNERS:
Prior to the 2010 Wetaskiwin Air Show, VEHICLE ACCESS PASSES for placement in the windshield of vehicles, or that of your guests, will be distributed by the City of Wetaskiwin to expedite your passage through the checkpoints and to your property during this special event. All vehicles attempting to pass through the checkpoints must display the pass or risk being denied access.
All airport area residents, businesses and airport users are invited to attend an Air Show Information Session on July 27 at 7:00pm at the Wetaskiwin Regional Airport Terminal Building.
