Visitor Fly-In's

We welcome you to fly in for the Wetaskiwin Air Show.

Fly-In Traffic:
All fly-in spectators are encouraged to check NOTAM's with Nav Canada prior to departure. The air space within 5 NM of Wetaskiwin will be closed during the air show and anyone in the area during the show is required to contact the Show Boss on 123.50 MHz. To avoid disrupting the air show, and potentially violating the restricted airspace, all fly in traffic should plan to arrive prior to 11am.

Parking:
Once you have arrived in Wetaskiwin for the show, you should exit the runway at taxiway "C". You will be marshalled to a parking area in the grass just off the taxiway. There will be no hard surfaces available for parking due to the limited space available. If fuel is requried prior to departure we ask that you park first, enjoy the show, and once the show has ended, taxi accross the runway to the main apron for fuel.

Admissions:
Access to the Reynolds-Alberta museum site will be fenced off with one access point where admission to the Air Show will be collected.

Aircraft Access During the Show:
Access to your aircraft during the air show will be very limited. Due to security requirements we ask that you take everything that you might need with you once you park. As soon as the last performer lands you will be granted unencumbered access to your aircraft. You will not be able to access your aircraft or leave until after the show is over.

Departing Wetaskiwin:
Departures will be allowed once the show ends which should be around 4:30 pm. Departures will not be permitted before then.
